It's been too long....

I haven't had a moment to write in so long. It is a very busy time at the mission. We are getting ready for Christmas. We have over one thousand kids signed up for toys and many families that will be receiving food from us. People are so generous and have been bringing food and money to the mission. The next two weeks will be especially busy getting the toy boxes ready for the families.
Here at home things are crazy too. I wish I could put a picture up of us but the oldest did something to the camera and now we can't get it to work. I get so frustrated when things get broken because I don't have time to keep up with the normal things much less the broken ones. That camera is not even a year old!! And I seem to be the only one who cares. Dave doesn't even try to figure it out. Sometimes I just get so overwhelmed, thinking, hey, I am just one person.
Okay, so this is not sounding too Christmas like. I am sorry, it is not like any one is going to read this anyway. I had a crisis earlier in the week because I felt like I was not preparing my heart for Christmas. I am trying to get myself on track and hopefully I can. The great thing about God is that He gives us a fresh start everyday! Thank you God!!
So today, I will pray and play my Christmas music and bake some Christmas cookies.
