Mother's Can Change The World

Within the last few weeks someone said something interesting at an event I was at. She was being anti-man as feminists are wont to do, and she was talking about how young women can change the world. That to get the smut off of tv and radio all we need is more young women choosing the right career in the business world and they will change it all!
Instantly I thought of Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, and Mariah Carey. These are smart business women who walk around half naked, well more than half!! They sell smut because they are making the big bucks and because they feel free walking around selling their bodies to the highest bidder. The world does not need more women sticking their kids in day care so they can make more money then a man!
What we need is moms who will stay home with their kids and teach them that walking around with no clothes on makes one look like a whore. Okay, so you don't start at two teaching them that, but at two you love them up and teach them the little things in life. As they get older they will naturally look up to you. Don't get me wrong, I have my share of battles with my oldest daughter. She thinks tops are ugly unless her boobs are spilling out of the top! But I can say no to my kids because I don't feel guilty, like I am a visitor in her life because someone else took care of her as a baby and small child! I don't know what it is with moms today, but no one tells their daughters "no" anymore. Why would a mother let her daughter walk around with words on her ass? I just don't get it! I mean do we need a sign for guys to look at our teenage girls asses? No, they are going to do it anyway, so I guess we should give them something to read while they are there!!
Today I saw a girl with "campuscrew" on her butt. Why doesn't she just put a price tag on her self. "Will screw for ten bucks or a happy meal." This has nothing to do with a male dominated society, this has to do with parents who can't say no. If parents just became parents then we would see less smut and junk all over. If parents said no to smutty movies, television shows and music they would have to stop making them because no one would be buying. Hey, kids are gonna try, my daughter has tried walking out of here with outlandish outfits that she put together and I said "Go back upstairs and get changed". No discussion. I am the parent. We will not sit down over a cup of tea and discuss this. You live in my house and this is the way it will be!
And guess what. My daughter still talks to me. She tells me what happens at school, she confides in me. Because she knows that I will be straight up with her. She may not always like what I have to say, but I have earned her respect. We bought her prom gown today and we both love it! It was relatively painless and she didn't even try to go for a gown that I wouldn't like!
So I will not win any awards from my college because I am not a business woman making great strides for humanity. I am just a lowly mother who watches over her brood with a sharp eye and loving words. My reward is in heaven. That is what I live for. To hear God say, "Well done my good and faithful servant, well done."
